Precision Validation
A simple button isn't enough. Our Mobile Punch feature captures two critical data points: Location and Identity.
Geo-Tagging: Every punch is stamped with high-accuracy GPS coordinates. For field staff, this validates client visits. For office staff, Geofencing ensures they can only punch in when they are within the 50-meter radius of the office building.
Selfie Validation: To prevent "phone swapping" (giving your phone to a colleague to punch in for you), the app can mandate a selfie. Our AI Face Recognition instantly verifies that the person holding the phone is indeed the employee, eliminating "buddy punching" entirely without requiring expensive hardware.
Built for the Field: Offline Mode
Field staff often work in basements, warehouses, or remote areas with spotty internet. A cloud-only app fails here. Kiework's app is "Offline-First." Employees can punch in without any signal. The app cryptographically stores the timestamp and location locally on the device. The moment connectivity is restored, the data syncs securely to the server. This reliability ensures that field teams are never penalized for network issues.
Device Binding
To further enhance security, Kiework supports Device Binding. An employee can only mark attendance from their registered smartphone. They cannot log in from a friend's phone to mark attendance. This 1:1 mapping between User and Device creates a secure, audit-proof attendance trail that stands up to scrutiny.
