SECRET HITLER
A Political Thriller of Trust, Betrayal, and Legislative Chaos

Chancellor Selection
"In a house divided,
every vote is a gamble."
A Battle for the Republic
"Secret Hitler is a dramatic social deduction game set in 1930s Germany. Players are secretly divided into two teams: the Liberals, who have a majority, and the Fascists, who are hidden to everyone but each other."
If the Liberals can learn to trust each other, they have the votes to control the table and win the game. But the Fascists will say whatever it takes to get elected, pass their agenda, and win the game.
THE POLITICAL PROCESS
The Election
Choosing the Government
The Presidential Candidate nominates a Chancellor. The entire group votes 'Ja!' or 'Nein!' on the proposed government.
If the vote passes, the President and Chancellor enter the legislative session. If it fails, the Presidency moves to the next player.
Be careful: electing Hitler as Chancellor after three Fascist policies have passed results in an instant Fascist victory.

The Legislation
Passing National Policies
The President draws three policy cards, discards one, and passes the remaining two to the Chancellor.
The Chancellor discards one and enacts the final policy. This is where the truth gets blurry.
Did the President pass two Fascist policies? Did the Chancellor discard a Liberal one? Trust is the only resource.

Executive Action
The Presidents Special Powers
As Fascist policies are enacted, the President gains special powers: investigating party membership, calling special elections, or execution.
These powers are the Liberals' best chance to root out the Fascists, but in the wrong hands, they are devastating.
Execution is permanent. If the Liberals kill Hitler, they win. If they kill a Liberal, they lose a vital vote.

Victory or Ruin
The Final Resolution
Liberals win if 5 Liberal policies pass or if Hitler is assassinated.
Fascists win if 6 Fascist policies pass or if Hitler is elected Chancellor after 3 Fascist policies are on the board.
The game ends in a dramatic reveal of identities, proving who was the true patriot and who was the infiltrator.
